On Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 6 pm, the San Marino Public Library Foundation invites you to join friends and neighbors at the Crowell Public Library for Delicious Destinations. This biennial community event returns to benefit the Crowell Public Library. 
 

Experience the transformation of the library into the romantic and historical destinations of the French Riviera and Greece. As you move about the library, you will be able to feast on delectable tastes from these countries prepared by Alexander’s Prime Meats and Catering. The extraordinary quality of Alexander’s food, service, and presentation has ensured its reputation as one of the top catering firms in Los Angeles. 

In between taking in the sights and foods about the library, attendees will be able to bid on spectacular silent auction items, such as a desert vacation home; a special visit with best-selling author Michael Connelly on the television production set of his popular series The Lincoln Lawyer; cultural entertainment in around LA; fine art and unique behind the scenes experiences; and much, much, more!

Delicious Destinations is organized by the San Marino Public Library Foundation, a supporting arm of the Crowell Public Library. This event will provide supplemental funding for educational, informational and cultural programs, expansion of the library collection as well as technological needs. The Foundation is enthusiastic to assist the library as it continues to provide quality service and programs to the community.

Crowell Public Library provides a gathering place, an information center, a technology hub, and a book and media collection to serve the educational, cultural and recreational interests of people of all ages.
